Even if the facial expressions were "somewhat" lacking, the daily use of the avatar - 8 hours a day for 5 almost months - made me feel it "almost" as my second self after a short period of acclimation.
That was about 2.5 years ago now. I assume that a lot has happened technically since then!

Yes, Monica, there have been some changes. We use full-body scans, for example. Here, the entire body is scanned with 64 cameras and then a photo-realistic game-ready avatar is created. But wow, 8 hours a day for 5 months is quite an achievement. I like to believe that the avatar has become a part of you. I am convinced that avatars and the metaverse will be an integral part of our reality and identity in the future.
